About Solar Ranch
Starting with a large parcel of unimproved land, envision the building of a sustainably designed environment for human habitation that supports itself through the sale of electrical energy produced on the property and sold to the local electric company. The energy produced will be done through green methods - solar and wind systems. This will be a small scale production unit that is contained on approximately 1/4 of the property.
There will also be structures on the property to be used as residences, workshops and educational units. This portion of the Solar Ranch will focus on offering on-site educational programs covering all aspect of sustainable living in a desert environment and alternative building materials.
